![]() This is our third visit to the Kimpton Born. I was shocked to hear that she was actually a front desk supervisor! If not for these unpleasant interactions with Blair, my rating for the property would have been 5 stars. Her terrible attitude was a stark contrast to the customer service that we received from all other staff members at the Born, most notably Robert (who was an absolute star). Check with the restaurant" After that episode, I purposely avoided her and asked to speak with the other front desk attendants. Even a simple request to break a $20 bill was met with a curt response from her, where she brusquely responded "I don't have any small bills. Her attitude was extremely unhelpful and at times hostile, which was a notable exception from the customer service that we've experienced at the 25 other Kimpton locations that we've visited over the years. The glitch I am referring to were the multiple extremely unpleasant interactions that we had with the front desk person named Blair (who may very well be the blonde woman referred to in the recent review posted by "bre510"). Our room had a nice view of the 16th Street mall. The property itself is amazing, with very cool decor and a great location adjacent to Union Station and Coors Field. My wife and I just returned from our first stay at the Hotel Born and absolutely loved every minute of it, with one glaring exception. ![]()
